Veterans’ Dream Foundation™ (VDF) is a national organization with the sole mission of fulfilling the final dreams of American military veterans who battle life-ending illness

•VDF is run by an all-volunteer staff. We fulfill the final dreams of our nation’s honored veterans’ because we believe it is our duty – and our privilege – to help America’s true heroes realize their dreams.

•We have an extensive Dream Team – volunteers in all 50 states who work tirelessly to fulfill final dreams for our veterans.

•To qualify for a wish, the candidate must have served honorably in the United States Military and must not have received a wish from any other wish-granting organization. A veteran may apply for a wish, or may be referred by their spouse, child, parent, medical professional, or other community resource.

•Following application for a Dream, the Foundation will work with the veteran to verify military service and the existence of life-ending illness. If all criteria are met, a member of the Dream Team will be assigned to facilitate Dream fulfillment. The Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion, sex or socioeconomic status.

•The average cost of a Dream is $3,500 (as of December 2010). For every dollar donated to VDF, over 95 percent goes towards fulfilling veterans’ final dreams.
